One of the most rigorous and exciting talent development initiatives, The 24 Hour Plays, are coming back to the UK after a break of nearly ten years, thanks to a collaboration between the Lawrence Batley Theatre in Huddersfield and The 24 Hour Plays in New York.
Following mentoring from some of the UK’s leading artists, over the course of 24 hours six writers, six directors, six producers and twenty-four actors from across the UK will come together to create six brand new plays, which will be staged at the Lawrence Batley Theatre in Huddersfield on Sunday 3 May 2020.
The 24 Hour Plays UK are open to any actors, writers, directors and producers who would benefit from the process. There is no charge to apply or take part in the programme and travel and accommodation will be looked after wherever is needed so that you can take part.
This is talent development for adrenaline junkies.
Applications for the class of 2020 are now closed.
